Ashraya Orphanage

 A 30 members team of Youth Fraternity Of Kalinga today visited the ophanage of ASHRAYA at Aingania Bhubaneswar and interacted with the underprivileged ones. They had organised a drawing compition and at the end of the program the winners were rewarded. YFK volunteers even had lunch with the children. Throughout the day the musicians of YFK entertained the children and played some very motivating tracks of tarre zameen par and many more by Suman. YFK also donated CFL bulbs which were needed by the orphanage. All the events were sponsored by YFK through donations from the members who are all students.

Ashraya orphanage was estabished in the year 2004, today there are 28 orphans with 8 staffs. the working condition of the orphanage is not upto mark. they were facing difficulties due to shortage of light. YFK donated the bulbs, holders n wires.

As quoted by the Saswat, Vice president YFK "the ASHRAYA orphanage has been established since 2004, but it has not been duly recognised yet. an appeal to all the authorities of ASHRAYA and the citizens of Odisha kindly help out the children residing there. There are children with high dreams but with no one to stand beside them.."

The president YFK, Ashirwad Patnaik said "  I promised to myself that I will help each of them to think high n to get a better position in life..N i request all my members to be the part of tht ORPHANAGE forever,so that the kids never feel as Orphans. In short,I with my Y F K team adopted the ORPHANAGE(ASHRYA) for exploring n growth of those kids."
