Candle Light March

Youth Fraternity of Kalinga had organized a candlelight peaceful gathering at the Indira Gandhi park today from 6 pm onwards to pay homage and condolence to the victims of the Mumbai  serial blasts which had rocked the congested city on Wednesday .  Some more than 100 youths participated in the peaceful gathering and paid homage and prayed for their souls to rest in peace.
YFK condemned the Mumbai attack  and appealed to the citizens to unite and fight back terrorism.
YFK president Ashirwad Pattnaik said, ”Mumbai has always been a soft target for the terrorists. But it’s high time that we the responsible citizens of India would silently accept this as a part of their routine. Yes we are not going to sleep anymore.”
As quoted by Suman Saurabh Mohanty “The ultimate bottom line from today's candle gathering not only showed us that we Indians are fearless but we are the supreme creed who will stand to fight for honor. An appeal to all countrymen, lets make India a safe nation rather than concentrating to make it a super nation.”

Saswat Mishra said, “ While the attack has again exposed Mumbai as a target, Indian leaders are maintaining they will not flinch. Terror will be defeated, wherever it is. They cannot and will never win. We all are united now and would fight back.”
